Dryer

Looking in on a random laundromat in Leederville, Perth, Western Australia.

The 85mm f/1.2L II is something of a cult lens among Canon enthusiasts. It’s big, heavy and fast. This lens was my last major splurge before embarking on that well worn journey of debt known as a mortgage. It produces such beautiful, creamy backgrounds, which I think are nicely demonstrated in this particular photo.

This shot was taken while out and about on the Perth Sunday Photowalk. If you’re local, come along to the next one!

About Tim
I love landscapes and I love the mountains. Pretty simple really. I've always been interested in photography. My dad had an old camera that I wasn't allowed to play with for fear of breaking, but I'd often sneak it into my room anyway. I'd play with all the dials, look through the viewfinder, release the shutter, but I had no film. These days I don't need it.
